Owner, Jennifer DeFrain, MS, RD, LDN, CSG started providing Home Health and Hospice nutrition consulting initially out of default when calls came into her dietitian staffing office in 2010. Although she was in the business of staffing dietitians in the hospital and nursing home setting, it was the natural progression to continue services in the home. She found that assisting in this transition and helping patients thrive in their own environment, surrounded by loved ones, was incredibly rewarding.

In 2016, she recognized the rapidly growing demand for dietitians in the home setting and decided to establish a separate entity called “House Call Dietitians”, branching it from her staffing agency. This strategic move allowed her and her company to focus specifically on the needs of home bound patients with nutrition needs, in the comfort of their home. They are excited to open their latest branch in Florida.
